by Stephen on December 11, 2009

This is on YouTube at the moment, there is also a shorter version which could be the one that makes it to TV. I can’t recall ever seeing a TV ad for a browser before!

When Google first released it’s Chrome browser it was greeted with a hubbub of geeky excitement. I downloaded it, I installed it, I tried it – I didn’t like it. That was the case for a few weeks anyway.
It sat on my laptop waiting to be used, but it was difficult to drag me away [...]

Post image for Google Wave – will it be the dog’s bollocks?

Google has announced that it intends to retire it’s AdSense video units feature at the end of April 2009.

If you have noticed strange figures in your AdSense account over the past day or two, fear not, you are not alone.
People have been reporting a huge increase in page impressions with a corresponding decrease in CTR (click through rate), but overall the balance was similar to the expected income.
I first noticed this last night, [...]

AdSense – less is more?

by Stephen on March 25, 2009

If you are a user of AdSense on your blog/website and have performed any kind of research into how to get the most out of the adverts, you will no doubt have come across the argument that “less is more”.
The thought process behind this strategy is that the fewer the number of ads placed on [...]
