Matt Cutts is a big wig at Google. He is head of the Google Webspam team and acts as the visual interface between the big G and bloggers, webmasters, SEO’ers, marketers and everyone else who is interested in benefiting from being online.
Matt’s blog is essential reading for a lot of people as he mostly writes about the latest innovations at Google and tries to explain why certain procedures have been adopted and how they will develop.
The video below is a version of a presentation Matt gave at Pubcon in Las Vegas late 2008. Matt has said he will try to publish many more videos like this in the future. His idea is to replicate important presentations he has given and make them available on video. This will allow people who could not attend the conference to benefit from the advice being offered.
The video is a little over twenty minutes long, but it is worthwhile sticking with it through to the end.
