Wordpress 2.6.1 now available

by Stephen on August 18, 2008

An update to the 2.6 version of Wordpress has recently been released. Most of the changes are aimed at international users who may be blogging in a language other than English (particularly Farsi and Hebrew). There doesn’t appear to be any major fixes for people blogging in English and the Wordpress blog advises users that there is no need to to upgrade if the current version is working satisfactorily.

There are over 60 fixes altogether. The full list can be viewed here
